Investment & Employment

Knowledge-based industry attraction and incubation is critical to the city, region and state’s long-term economic sustainability and will provide a valuable skilled labour pool required to support the development of the city’s knowledge economy.

The Precinct is also benefiting from significant infrastructure development.

There is strong commitment to the growth and economic value of the precinct – with investment by partners and all levels of government currently exceeding $5 billion with new university buildings, hospitals, road infrastructure and light rail.
